First day, woke up to a delicious breakfast; the mangoes
were especially tasty. Then we went to Vernet Baptist Church were we got to
meet some great people and get a tour of the town Vernet. After a light lunch
we split into two groups and helped community members clean their homes. It was
a fantastic day, we even learned some creole.
